Biogas is a mixture of gases, primarily consisting of methane and carbon dioxide. Metano Industries mainly produces biogas from raw materials such as agricultural waste, industrial waste like Pressmud, bagasse, agricultural crops like super Napier grass, paddy, food waste, vegetable waste and MSW waste from the corporations.

Biomethane or BIO CBG is the purest form of methane which is extracted from biogas. Four different stages of Biogas plant are as listed below,

1. Pre treatment
2. Feeding system to digester (CSTR technology)
3. Purification (PSA or Membrane)
4. Compression

The unit cost of CBG/CNG is much lesser than LPG, petrol, diesel, other petroleum products. A CBG/CNG saves up to 35% on the fuel cost and get higher mileage compare to petrol, diesel products.

BioCNG/CBG has multiple applications with respect to international markets and is used in Marine industry, power industry, automobile industry as a vehicle fuel, food industry (cooking, heating purpose), used in production of Hydrogen via SMR technology and many more.
